Wij zijn Waste Space, 6 milieubewuste studenten Leisure Management aan de Willem Kooing Academie, Rotterdam. Voor ons eindproject organiseren wij donderdag 21 juni een benifiet evenement in Eurotrash United. De opbrengst hiervan gaat naar Plastic Soup Foundation.

De missie van Plastic Soup Foundation is: ‘No plastic waste in our water!‘

Zij halen geen plastic uit het water; ze zorgen dat het er niet (meer) in komt. Sinds 2011 zijn zij actief met als doel om plasticsoep aan te pakken, zoals microplastics in cosmetica en synthetische vezels uit kleding. Inmiddels behoort de organisatie van Nederlandse bodem volgens de internationale pers tot ‘One of the leading advocacy groups to tackle plastic pollution.’

Het geld dat wij ophalen tijdens en voor ons evenement gaat naar de meest recente campagne van de Plastic Soup Foundation: Start Plastic Diet. Waarin zij naast onderzoek naar het effect dat plastic op onze gezondheid heeft ook bewustwording creëeren voor dit probleem

Kan je niet bij het evenement aanwezig zijn? Treur niet! Via deze manier kan je toch nog een steentje bijdragen. Kleine of grote bijdrage, alles is welkom!

We're organizing a fundraiser on the June the 21st in Eurotrash United, Rotterdam.
We will be raising money for the Plastic Soup Foundation.

The mission of Plastic Soup Foundation is: 'No plastic waste in our water!'
They do not get plastic out of water; they want to make sure it doesn't get back in! Since 2011 they have been fighting to reduce 'Plastic soup' , such as microplastics in cosmetics and synthetic fibers from clothing. Meanwhile, according to the international press, the organization of Dutch soil belongs to 'One of the leading advocacy groups to tackle plastic pollution.'

The money we raise during our event will go to the newest campaign of the Plastic Soup Foundation, called: Start Plastic Diet. With this donation we support PSF to start research to the effect of plastic on our health.
