In 2025 bestaat Ductbricks 10 jaar en dat gaan we vieren met een groot Event in het MECC in Maastricht. 

Voor dit evenement willen we een community build maken van een bekende plek in deze prachtige stad.

• Het Vrijthof is een plein in de binnenstad van Maastricht.
• Het is het grootste plein in het centrum van de Limburgse hoofdstad. 

Het plein is vooral bekend om zijn vele monumenten, diverse culturele voorzieningen, een reeks jaarlijkse evenementen en de vele terrasjes. 

De geschiedenis van het Vrijthof is uniek in Nederland door het onafgebroken gebruik sinds de Romeinse tijd. Er zijn 38 nationale monumenten op het plein, waaronder de Sint-Janskerk, de Sint-Servaasbasiliek, de Hoofdwacht, het Generaalshuis en de Spaanse regering.

Uiteraard mag het decor van de Andre Rieu concerten ook niet ontbreken op dit bekende plein.

Wij willen op een schaal van 1:40 dit prachtige centrum nabouwen en tentoonstellen tijdens ons event op 17 en 18 mei 2025 in het MECC. De complete lay-out zal +/- 4 bij 5 meter gaan beslaan.

Wij zijn blij met elke financiële steun, om uiteindelijk deze duizenden steentjes te kunnen aanschaffen die voor deze unieke lay-out benodigd zullen zijn.

In 2025, Ductbricks will be 10 years old and we are going to celebrate that with a big Event at the MECC in Maastricht.

For this event, we want to make a community build of a well-known place in this beautiful city.

• The Vrijthof is a square in the city center of Maastricht.
• It is the largest square in the centre of the Limburg capital.

The square is best known for its many monuments, various cultural facilities, a series of annual events and its many outdoor cafes.

The history of the Vrijthof is unique in the Netherlands due to its continuous use since Roman times. There are 38 national monuments in the square, including St. John's Church, St. Servatius Basilica, the Main Guard, the General's House, and the Spanish government.

Of course, the décor of the Andre Rieu concerts should not be missed on this famous square.

We want to recreate this beautiful center on a scale of 1:40 and exhibit it during our event on 17 and 18 May 2025 at the MECC. The complete layout will cover +/- 4 by 5 meters.

We are happy with any financial support, in order to eventually be able to purchase these thousands of stones that will be needed for this unique layout.
