I am writing this message with a heavy heart about a dear family friend — a kind, generous woman who took care of my grandmother for years without ever asking for anything in return. Today, she is the one who desperately needs help.
Some time ago, she suffered a severe brain hemorrhage, along with a ruptured artery near her heart, another ruptured artery in her abdomen, and even a ruptured artery in her leg. These life‑threatening complications caused her to fall into a coma that lasted for three months.
Even after waking up, she spent another month in a very weak and unstable condition, unable to fully regain consciousness or move normally.
At one point, doctors were preparing to amputate her leg because of the damage caused by the ruptured artery, but thankfully, they managed to save it at the last moment. However, she still suffers from serious complications and must remain on long‑term treatment to stay stable.
Because she has no health insurance and no monthly income, she has been borrowing money from people just to cover her medical needs. Over time, this has created a large amount of debt, and she is unable to pay it back.
On top of this, she has a serious medical problem in a sensitive area, causing her constant pain and making it extremely difficult for her to walk or move. She urgently needs surgery, but she simply cannot afford it.
We also hope that, with enough support, a health organization or charity may be able to follow her case and help her receive the long‑term medical care she needs.
This is why the fundraising goal is higher — her situation requires ongoing medical treatment, debt relief, and support for her three young children. Every contribution helps her take a step toward stability and healing.
Despite all this suffering, she continues to fight every day to take care of her three young children, with no financial support and no stable income.
Today, I am asking for help on her behalf because she is too shy and proud to ask for herself. Any donation — even a small one — will help her reduce her debt and get the medical care she urgently needs.
