Rotterdam without Blijdorp wouldn't be Rotterdam anymore.
Nathan was our energetic friend. He left us, at only 19, on 28-11-2020, way too soon and far too young. Nathan was smart and fun, passionate with limitless energy, always ready to make time for hanging around with his friends. He also loved cycling๐ต๐ปโ๏ธ. In the summer of 2020, he climbed the Mont-Ventoux for the 2nd time with his father after a 3-week holiday in Spain, in 1h55๐… Nathan had lots of passions, cars, cycling, sneakers, etc, but he always had a very special love for nature (especially the jungle) and its animals. In 19 years, he’s had a whole collection already: a bird, a rabbit, piranhas, guppy’s, and too many other fishes to name them all, geckos, tortoises, frogs, ants, chameleons, butterflies, etc. His dream was to buy a ๐and visit Costa Rica for its wildlife.
We, his friends and family, are TeamNathan. To honor his memory we will climb the Mont Ventoux on 21-7-21 to raise funds for the Rotterdam Blijdorp zoo. Nathan spent days as a child at the Blijdorp zoo and he would have really hated to see the zoo disappear. Because of Corona the Blijdorp zoo is in serious financial difficulties and can really use some help. Nathan loved Rotterdam, he always said: “I will travel the world, but I will always come back to Rotterdam”. Rotterdam without Blijdorp wouldn’t be Rotterdam anymore.
Nathan was inspiring and we’re taking on this challenge for him and to help Blijdorp. Hoping to inspire you to help Blijdorp too!
Many thanks in advance for your donationโค๏ธ
