Running for MS Research
short version : I’m running the Eindhoven Marathon to raise money for MS research. This fundraiser was inspired by someone very important to me who lives with Multiple Sclerosis.
Story :
A year ago, I met someone who became very special to me. During the time we spent together, she shared that she has been living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) since she was a child.
Hearing that broke my heart.
MS is a chronic neurological disease that currently has no cure. It can affect mobility, vision, balance, energy levels, and many other aspects of daily life. Every person’s journey with MS is different, but living with the uncertainty of the disease takes incredible strength.
She is one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met, and seeing how much resilience she shows every day inspired me to do something meaningful.
That is why I have decided to run the Eindhoven Marathon and raise money for MS research.
Every donation, no matter how small, helps researchers move closer to better treatments and, hopefully one day, a cure.
I am running this marathon 40km for everyone living with MS, for the families and friends who support them, and for the people I love.
Training is in progress.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for supporting this cause.
