SKI LANKA
Between the 25th of March and 2nd of April, we are walking the Haute Route (a 200km ski tour from Chamonix to Zermatt) to help Sri Lanka’s Somawathi orphanage.
Ski Lanka is aiming to raise £ 11,000 for the Somawathi orphanage, equalling the orphanage’s average annual electricity bill. Your support will enable the orphanage to install 36 solar energy panels resulting in an average generation of ~10.1 KWh, significantly reducing it’s annual electricity expenses.
This one-time investment results in a long term recurring benefit for the children of Somawathi bringing the orphanage one step closer to self-sustainability.
