The Maasai Mara largely remain an indigenous culture of which their communities are self sustainable. With social, natural and spiritual balanced way of life. Under pressure of ethnocide and ecocide their ways of providing is no longer sufficient enough. 

In order to survive they have to buy their supplies, for which often they do not have the funds or way to generate them. Another choice is consuming their cattle in a way that decreases their self sustainabillity for incoming seasons. And the possibillity of famine in the near future.

My dear friend and brotherman Benson is chief of the Maasai community Olasiti. We have met on global gatherings in which indigenous share without reciprocity their indigenous wisdom and practises. With those that lost their indigenous identity and ways of life. In order to cocreate a socially just, enviromentally sustainable and spiritually conscious global human culture. 

Now he is reaching out all winter, on a daily basis at one point, for help. Sharing how the famine progresses. We have send financial support and recieved much gratitude and images. It could feet a part  of their community for a short while. What we can share is not enough and therefor we reach out to our communities, families, friends. 

It is of big importance that we restore again the self sustainabillity of one of the remaining strong indigenous cultures of our world today! For this perticular Maasai community he invisions 1800,- will be enough. (See list of local proces below)

As we share what we can, we would also ask our families & communities to contribute. Ofcourse in financial ways, but also in artistic ways of expression to generate strong attention to this crowdfunding. We will share these expression daily on our social media.
