Hi everyone,

As you may already know, my hometown Porto Alegre in Brazil has been devastated by severe floods over the past few weeks. Many of the people I love most have been deeply affected. My relatives - including my grandmother, great-uncle, aunts, and uncle - had their homes flooded by waters reaching 1.7 meters high. We are incredibly grateful that everyone is safe and unharmed, but the road to reconstruction is long and challenging. As of today (May 26, 2024), they are still not able to return to their homes. Once the water goes down, they will be able to go back and fully understand the scale of the destruction, and after that cleaning and rebuilding phase will start.

These are some of the most resilient and hardworking people I know, always facing adversity with a smile. However, the scale of this disaster is overwhelming, and they need help to rebuild their lives. I am reaching out to ask for your support. All money will be spent supporting the reconstruction of the houses of my grandmother (Maria Dutra), great-uncle (Ricardo Iwanczuk), 3 aunts (Erica, Ivani e Nathalia Dutra) and 1 uncle (Jorge Dutra).
