Hi, my name is Minde,

and I’m reaching out as I take the biggest step of my life—starting over after surviving domestic violence.

I left everything behind—my home, my belongings, my sense of safety—because I knew I deserved better. It wasn’t easy. I walked away with nothing but the courage to believe I could rebuild.

Now, I’m working to become more than a survivor.

I want to feel like a person again. Not a victim, not someone defined by what I went through, but someone building something meaningful and strong.

That’s where my dream comes in:

starting my own food truck.

Cooking has always been my passion, my way of finding peace, and now I want to turn it into a business that supports me and brings good food and warmth to others.

I know I’m asking a lot—but if you can help raise even a little, it could completely turn my life around. I truly believe that once I’m back on my feet, I can help others too.

• Truck maintenance and supplies

I know not everyone understands how hard it is to start over.
