Hello everyone,
This is an appeal from the bottom of my heart.
My sister, Penny, 77, who lives in South Africa, been diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), a rare neurogenerative disease for which there is no cure.
She is confined to a wheelchair because she falls a lot, has aphasia and is losing her facial expressions and has difficulty with eating.
She and her husband are having a very difficult time in dealing with this situation and also coming to terms with the idea that there is no cure.
Penny´s condition is deteriorating and there is the possibility that, in the near future, she will have to be moved to a hospice.
They have no extra funds to deal with this situation.
It is heartbreaking.
I need your help so that she can be taken care of 24/7.
Her husband is doing his best to help her but due to his age, 80 and due to chronic back problems he is incapable of doing much.
Any donations are welcome.
Thank you.
