Stel jezelf eens voor, je hebt een droom. Op een gegeven moment komt die binnen handbereik. Een mooi huis op een prachtig stuk land, in mijn geval. Hier wil ik mijn camping gaan creëren en samen met de gasten, leven met de natuur. Een aannemer ontmoet, die met mij een prachtig plan voor ogen had. Althans, dat dacht ik. Want deze aannemer had totaal iets anders voor ogen. Namelijk; mij veel geld afhandig maken en mij achterlaten met een onleefbaar huis en geen faciliteiten voor de camping. OPGELICHT voor een bedrag van maar liefst €56000,- en inbraak in mijn huis en diefstal van een aantal materialen. 

Mijn naam is Robbert en dit is mijn verhaal.Ik ben in augustus 2023 geëmigreerd naar het mooie noorden van Portugal. Mijn betaalde job in Nederland opgezegd en mijn huis verkocht. Van de overwaarde van deze woning heb ik een leuk karakteristiek Portugees huis kunnen kopen. Van het restbedrag wilde ik het huis (laten) renoveren en van de op het terrein aanwezige oude schuren, een mooi sanitair gebouw maken.Tijdens het tekenen van het voorlopig koopcontract in mei 2023, kwam ik in contact met een Belgische aannemer, die me betrouwbaar genoeg overkwam, zodat ik hem mijn droom heb uitgelegd, wat ik wilde doen met het huis en het mooie terrein. Hij vroeg of ik de feestdagen (kerst en oud en nieuw, 23-24) in mijn nieuwe huis wilde vieren en daar heb ik volmondig, JA op gezegd, "Nou, daar gaan we dan voor zorgen" zei hij.Om een lang verhaal kort te maken; ik ben met deze man in zee gegaan, ook omdat hij bij mijn zus (ook woonachtig in Portugal), de badkamer had gerenoveerd en dat was keurig netjes gedaan. Hij ging eind augustus 2023 van start met sloopwerkzaamheden aan het huis, met 1 man personeel. Inmiddels was het bijna half november 2023 en waren de sloopwerken pas klaar. Daarna kwam er niet veel actie meer van zijn kant. Het weer was wat slechter aan het worden, was de mooie smoes. Ondertussen had ik al meermalen om een planning gevraagd, die ik maar niet kreeg. Toen begonnen er zo de vraagtekens op te komen.Tijdens mijn verjaardag in februari, hadden we een etentje met hem. Ook daar weer de planning ter sprake gebracht en die zou er snel aankomen. Rond maart, kwam er een nieuwe werknemer voor hem werken. Iemand waar ikzelf ook goed mee kon communiceren. Op dit moment, maart 2024, had ik de aannemer al zo'n €50000,- betaald. €13.302,- voor een off-grid systeem, €34000,- voor de renovatie / camping en €2312,- voor hout in het huis. In april 2024, kreeg ik de vraag of ik nog eventjes €6000,- wilde betalen, zodat hij zijn personeel kon betalen (werk-uren). Daar kwam de 1e escalatie. Hier was ik het namelijk niet mee eens en heb gevraagd om een goed gesprek bij hem op kantoor. Dat weigerde hij en nam al zijn gereedschap per direct mee, waaronder ook een paar materialen van mijzelf. Daar stond ik, in een gesloopt huis (binnenkant), dat niet leefbaar is op zo'n moment en €50000,- armer. Intussen hebben we mensen leren kennen, van Nederlandse en Belgische komaf, die ook met deze aannemer in zee waren gegaan. Ook bij hen, heeft hij veel chaos veroorzaakt. Eind april 2024, heb ik samen met 1 van deze mensen een gesprek met de aannemer gehad en hij beloofde "beterschap" en zou de gemaakte afspraken, die we op papier hadden gezet netjes nakomen. De €6000,- heb ik uiteindelijk betaald. Hij is toen aan de badkamer begonnen, ter compensatie van het niet op tijd klaar zijn van het huis rond de jaarwisseling, want dit zou eerst niet gedaan worden. Uiteindelijk kwam er een 2e escalatie, doordat hij nieuwe ramen had geplaatst, welke hij met kleine metalen beugels vast had gemaakt aan het kozijn (in het zicht) en op de oude tegelmuur van de badkamer. De ruimte tussen het kozijn en de muur werd opgevuld met Purschuim. Hier werd ik niet echt blij van. Ik heb toen in overleg met mijn advocaat, die ik inmiddels in de arm had genomen, de werkzaamheden op pauze gezet. De aannemer pikte dit niet (zijn visie was dat ik hem het werk belemmerde en dat hij niet meer mocht werken) en had voor de 2e keer zijn gereedschap meegenomen. Ware het niet, dat er niemand in of bij het huis was, dan alleen hijzelf. Hij kon enkel middels inbraak bij zijn spullen komen en heeft dit dus ook gedaan. Verbouwereerd stond ik naar de schade te kijken diezelfde avond nog en weer was hij weg en ik €56000,- armer, met een onleefbaar huis. Aangifte gedaan bij de GNR, voor oplichting, inbraak en diefstal. Ondertussen, van mijn laatste geld, zelf maar wat materiaal gekocht en een begin gemaakt aan de renovatie van mijn huis. Inmiddels zijn die spaarcenten bijna op, door aankoop materiaal, landmeter en kosten voor de advocaat ed.

Naast deze verbouwing, die ik nu zelf moet uitvoeren, heb ik dus ook geen tijd om nog extra werk te verrichten. Ik wil nu, na 1,5 jaar, doorpakken en het huis leefbaar maken en de faciliteiten voor de camping klaarmaken, zodat deze nog hopelijk dit jaar open kan. 

Nu hoop ik, dat er genoeg mensen zijn, met het hart op de juiste plaats, die mij hierin zouden willen ondersteunen. Er staat een verblijf op de prachtige natuurcamping tegenover (zodra deze klaar is), een uurtje rijden vanaf Porto. De camping zal straks opgebouwd worden op een terrein van grasland, terrassen en bos, met fruitbomen, eigen mijnwater en een mooi uitzicht. Stilte en rust hoor je hier het meest.

Imagine-se, você tem um sonho. Em algum momento, ele está ao alcance. Uma bela casa em um belo pedaço de terra, no meu caso. Aqui quero criar o meu parque de campismo e viver com a natureza juntamente com os convidados. Conheci um empreiteiro que tinha um plano maravilhoso em mente comigo. Pelo menos, foi o que eu pensei. Porque este empreiteiro tinha algo completamente diferente em mente. A saber; tirar muito dinheiro de mim e deixar-me com uma casa inabitável e sem instalações para o parque de campismo. SCAMMED por uma quantia não inferior a € 56000 e roubo em minha casa e roubo de uma série de materiais.

Meu nome é Robbert e esta é a minha história. Emigrei para o belo norte de Portugal em agosto de 2023. Deixei o meu emprego remunerado nos Países Baixos e vendi a minha casa. Com o capital desta casa consegui comprar uma bela casa portuguesa característica. Do valor restante eu queria renovar a casa (ou tê-la renovada) e transformar os antigos celeiros no local em um belo edifício sanitário. Ao assinar o contrato de compra preliminar, em maio de 2023, entrei em contato com um empreiteiro belga, que me pareceu confiável o suficiente, para que eu explicasse a ele meu sonho, o que eu queria fazer com a casa e os belos jardins. Ele perguntou se eu queria comemorar as festas (Natal e Ano Novo, 23-24) na minha nova casa e eu disse de todo o coração, SIM, "Bem, nós vamos cuidar disso então", disse ele. Para encurtar uma longa história; Entrei em negócios com este homem, também porque ele tinha renovado a casa de banho da minha irmã (também a viver em Portugal) e isso foi bem feito. Iniciou os trabalhos de demolição da casa no final de agosto de 2023, com 1 funcionário. Já era quase meados de novembro de 2023 e os trabalhos de demolição tinham acabado de ser concluídos. Depois disso, não houve muita ação do seu lado. O tempo estava ficando um pouco pior, era a boa desculpa. Entretanto, pedi várias vezes um horário, que simplesmente não consegui. Então os pontos de interrogação começaram a surgir. Durante meu aniversário, em fevereiro, jantamos com ele. Também aí se discutiu o planeamento e viria em breve. Por volta de março, um novo funcionário veio trabalhar para ele. Alguém que eu pudesse me comunicar bem comigo mesmo. Nesta altura, março de 2024, já tinha pago ao empreiteiro cerca de 50000€. 13.302€ para um sistema off-grid, 34000€ para a renovação/campismo e 2312€ para a madeira da casa. Em abril de 2024, perguntaram-me se queria pagar 6000 euros durante algum tempo, para que ele pudesse pagar o seu pessoal (horas de trabalho). Veio a 1ª escalada. Não concordei com isso e pedi uma boa conversa no gabinete dele. Ele recusou e imediatamente levou todas as suas ferramentas com ele, incluindo alguns materiais meus. Lá estava eu, numa casa demolida (no interior), que não é habitável numa altura destas e 50000€ mais pobre. Entretanto, ficámos a conhecer pessoas, de ascendência holandesa e belga, que também tinham unido forças com este empreiteiro. Ele também causou muito caos com eles. No final de abril de 2024, tive uma conversa com o empreiteiro juntamente com 1 dessas pessoas e ele prometeu "melhorias" e cumpriria perfeitamente os acordos que tínhamos feito no papel. Finalmente paguei os 6000€. Ele então começou no banheiro, para compensar a casa não estar pronta a tempo na virada do ano, porque isso não seria feito no início. Acabou por haver uma 2ª escalada, porque tinha instalado novas janelas, que tinha anexado com pequenos suportes metálicos à armação (à vista) e à antiga parede de azulejos da casa de banho. O espaço entre a armação e a parede foi preenchido com espuma de poliuretano. Isso realmente não me deixou feliz. Em consulta com o meu advogado, que entretanto contratei, suspendi os trabalhos. O empreiteiro não aceitou isso (a visão dele era que eu estava obstruindo seu trabalho e que ele não estava mais autorizado a trabalhar) e tinha tomado suas ferramentas pela 2ª vez. Não fosse o fato de que não havia ninguém dentro ou perto da casa além dele mesmo. Ele só conseguia chegar aos seus pertences através de roubo e assim o fez. Desnorteado, estava a olhar para os estragos naquela mesma noite e de novo ele tinha ido embora e eu estava 56000 euros mais pobre, com uma casa inhabitável. Denunciado à GNR, por burla, roubo e furto. Entretanto, com o meu último dinheiro, comprei alguns materiais e comecei a reformar a minha casa Enquanto isso, essas economias quase desapareceram, devido à compra de materiais, topógrafos e custos para o advogado, etc. 

Para além desta renovação, que agora tenho de fazer, também não tenho tempo para fazer qualquer trabalho extra. Agora, passados 1,5 anos, quero continuar a fazê-lo e tornar a casa habitável e preparar as instalações para o parque de campismo, para que possa abrir este ano.

Agora espero que haja um número suficiente de pessoas, com o coração no lugar certo, que queiram apoiar-me nesta tarefa. Há uma estadia no belo acampamento de natureza em frente (assim que estiver pronto), a uma hora de carro do Porto. O parque de campismo será em breve construído numa área de pastagens, socalcos e floresta, com árvores de fruto, a sua própria água de mina e uma bela vista. O silêncio e a tranquilidade são mais ouvidos aqui.

After that, there was not much action from his side. The weather was getting a bit worse, was the nice excuse. In the meantime, I had asked several times for a schedule, which I just didn't get. Then the question marks started to arise. During my birthday in February, we had dinner with him. There too the planning was discussed and it would come soon. Around March, a new employee came to work for him. Someone I could communicate well with myself. At this point, March 2024, I had already paid the contractor about €50000. €13,302 for an off-grid system, €34000 for the renovation / camping and €2312 for wood in the house. I did not agree with this and asked for a good conversation at his office. He refused and immediately took all his tools with him, including a few materials of my own. In the meantime, we got to know people, of Dutch and Belgian descent, who had also joined forces with this contractor. He has also caused a lot of chaos with them. At the end of April 2024, I had a conversation with the contractor together with 1 of these people and he promised "improvement" and would neatly fulfill the agreements we had made on paper. I finally paid the €6000. He then started on the bathroom, to compensate for the house not being ready in time around the turn of the year, because this would not be done at first. Eventually there was a 2nd escalation, because he had installed new windows, which he had attached with small metal brackets to the frame (in sight) and to the old tile wall of the bathroom. The space between the frame and the wall was filled with polyurethane foam. This didn't really make me happy. In consultation with my lawyer, whom I had hired in the meantime, I then put the work on hold. The contractor did not accept this (his vision was that I was obstructing his work and that he was no longer allowed to work) and had taken his tools for the 2nd time. Were it not for the fact that there was no one in or near the house but himself. He could only get to his belongings through burglary and so he did. Bewildered I was looking at the damage that same evening and again it was gone and I was €56000 poorer, with an unlivable house. Reported to the GNR, for fraud, burglary and theft. In the meantime, with my last money, I bought some materials myself and started renovating my house. Meanwhile, those savings are almost gone, due to the purchase of materials, surveyors and costs for the lawyer, etc. 

In addition to this renovation, which I now have to do myself, I also have no time to do any extra work. I now, after 1.5 years, want to get on with it and make the house livable and prepare the facilities for the campsite, so that it can hopefully open this year.

Now I hope that there are enough people, with their hearts in the right place, who would like to support me in this. There is a stay at the beautiful nature campsite opposite (as soon as it is ready), an hour's drive from Porto. The campsite will soon be built on an area of grassland, terraces and forest, with fruit trees, its own mine water and a beautiful view. Silence and tranquility are heard most here.
