Hallo lieve mensen, ik heb een plan ... een droom !!!
Wie ben ik ?
Mijn naam is Roy van Herk. Ik woon in Deurne. Ik heb een zoon van 20 jaar. Momenteel ben ik werkzaam als projektleider bij een installatiebedrijf. Maar niet lang meer ...
Wat is mijn plan ?
Ik ben van plan een wereldreis te maken. Deze start in oktober 2018 en duurt tot oktober 2020. Deze reis ga ik doen op mijn motor (zie foto) en helemaal alleen. Op zich een spannend avontuur. Maar nu zullen jullie denken dat doen er meer. Dat klopt ! Maar ik ga niet alleen maar op reis. Op mijn reis of tijdens mijn reis (net hoe je het wil noemen) neem ik een goed doel mee. D.w.z. ik ga een inzamelingsactie doen. En niet zomaar eentje. Deze actie zal nationaal starten en wil ik in een latere fase uitlaten groeien tot een internationale actie.
Voor wie ga ik deze actie opzetten ?
Voor alle kinderen die leven in de huidige en voormalige oorlogsgebieden. Dit zijn veelal kinderen die toch al niets hebben en door de oorlog er nog slechter aan toe zijn. Vele hebben hun ouders of familie al verloren. Het ontbreekt hen aan alles ... alles wat wij heel normaal vinden en voor lief nemen. Dan moet je denken aan : een veilig onderkomen, onderwijs, eten, goed drinkwater, aandacht en liefde ... ga zo maar door. Ik hoop door deze actie de bestaande organisatie "Warchild” financieel te ondersteunen. Zodat zij op hun beurt hun goede werk kunnen uitbreiden.
Hoe ga ik de actie opzetten ?
Het projekt bestaat uit 2 fases. De eerste fase is deze actie waarbij ik jullie financiele hulp vraag, om de tweede fase tot een succes te laten worden. Om de tweede te laten werken moet ik nog heel veel regelen. Allereerst moet er een website komen. Dat is geen goedkope. Deze zal sowieso in diverse talen te openen moeten zijn. Deze dient zodaning gebouwd te worden zodat er continu zaken opgezet kunnen worden. Zoals updates tijdens mijn reis. Maar ook alle donaties die plaats vinden worden hierbij bijgehouden. Tevens zal niet alleen ik deze beheren, maar ook iemand van het thuisfront zal daar aan mee gaan werken. Verder moet ik een advokaat en een organisatie/bedrijf gaan benaderen en betalen die de benodigde contracten en juridische zaken moeten gaan regelen en uitwerken om deze hele actie te laten functioneren. Zodat alle gelden die binnenkomen ook op een legale en eerlijke manier besteed en beheerd gaan worden. Daarnaast moet ik een bank in de arm nemen die over de hele wereld rekeningen gaat openen op naam van deze actie. Zodat het voor de donateurs in het buitenland ook interessant is om te doneren (belastingtechnisch gezien). Verder wil een deel van het budget gaan gebruiken voor reclame/campagnedoeleinden. Dan moet je denken aan banners, t-shirts, etc ... Mocht er aan het einde van fase 1 er nog geld over blijven, dan zal ik dit storten in de kas van fase 2 van dit projekt.
Hoe ziet fase 2 er dan uit ?
Zodra fase 1 is afgerond en (hopelijk) is gelukt met jullie hulp, dan volgt fase 2. Dan ga ik starten met het onder de aandacht brengen van mijn projekt bij een specifieke doelgroep. Dat is de "muziekwereld". dat moet je zien in de ruimste zin van het woord. Dat zijn : zangers en zangeressen, bands, muzikanten, producers, songwriters en concertorganisaties over de hele wereld. Dit ga ik doen middels alle mogelijke middelen. Door social media, kranten, radio en t.v., de website zelf en heel belangrijk : persoonlijke contacten. Ik kan jullie verklappen dat ik achter de schermen al bezig ben met diverse mensen die mij enerzijds helpen met het leggen van contacten met bands en muziekanten. Zodat bij de start van fase 2 ook al een groep van donateurs hebben die de actie een beginstart zullen geven. Behalve dat ik dit allemaal moet gaan opzetten en regelen moet ik natuurlijk ook iets te bieden hebben naar mijn donateurs. Ik bied hun een tegenprestatie voor hun donatie !
Wat is dan mijn tegenprestatie ?
Tijdens mijn wereldreis ga ik "nergens" betalen om te slapen" !!! D.w.z. dat ik tijdens mijn reis (dit zijn in totaal ongeveer 730 dagen) een gratis slaapplaats moet regelen. Dat betekent dat als ik geen gratis slaapplaats heb, dat ik buiten in mijn tentje zal moeten slapen. En dat is niet overal waar ik zal komen zo normaal of simpelweg te doen. Kijk maar eens naar mijn route en lijst van landen die ik heb toegevoegd (zie foto's). Dit zal ik ook continue laten zien op mijn facebook-pagina die ik speciaal voor deze reis heb aangemaakt.
Ik ben er klaar voor !
Voor mij mag het gaan beginnen. Ik hoop op jullie ondersteuning. dat dit een fantastisch mooi projekt mag gaan worden. Behalve dat ik jullie donatie erg zal waarderen, kunnen jullie mij ook helpen door deze actie te delen op social media, tijdens een verjaardag of een biertje in de kroeg. Alle hulp is welkom. Who am I ?

What is my plan ?
I plan to make a trip around the world. It starts in October 2018 and lasts until October 2020. I'm going to make this trip on my motorcycle (see photo) and all alone. It will be an exciting adventure. You will maybe think that’s not that special ... more people do it. That's right! But I'm not going just to travel. On my trip or during my trip (just how you want to call it) I take a good cause with me. I'm going to do a fundraising campaign. And it will be a big one ! This charity will start on a national level and at a later stage it must grow to an international one.
For whom I’ll be going to set up charity ?
For all the children who live in the current and former war zones. These are mostly children who already do not have anything. And due to the war they are even worse off. Many have already lost their parents or relatives. They lack everything ... everything we find very normal and take for granted. Then you have to think about: a safe haven, education, food, good drinking water, love and affection ... and so on. With this charity I hope to financially support the already existing organization "WarChild". So that they can continue their good work. How do I set up the charity ? The project consists of 2 phases: For the first stage, I need your financial help, that’s necessary to allow the second stage to work. First of all, there needs to be a website. That’s not cheap. It has to work in various languages. And should be built so that it can be updated with my posts of my journey. But also all the donations that are taking place. The website will be managed by me, along with a friend from home. Furthermore, I need a lawyer and an organization/company that will make the necessary contracts and legal matters. I want the whole project to function properly, so that all money that comes in will be spent fairly and legally. In addition, I need a bank to open accounts all over the world under the name of this project. So that the donors abroad can donate locally (due to the tax point of view). I also want to use some of the budget for advertising/campaign purposes.Think of banners, t-shirts, etc. .. If at the end of phase 1 there's still money left, I will put it towards the development of phase 2 of this charity.
What does phase 2 look like ?
Once phase 1 is completed and (hopefully) was it successful with your help. This is now followed by phase 2. I'm going to start with bringing my project at the attenties of a specific target group. That's the "music world industry". That you should see in the broadest sense of the word. These are : singers, bands, musicians, producers, songwriters and concert-organizations all around the world. I'm going to do this by any means necessary/available. By social media, newspapers, radio and television, the website itself and also very important, personal contacts. I can tell you that I am already working behind the scenes with various people who are helping me with making contacts with bands and musicians. So that at the start of phase 2 that I have a group of donors that will give a good start to the project at the beginning. Although I have to set up and arrange all this, I must of course also have something to offer to my donors. Something in exchange ...
What is my end of the bargain ?
During my worldtrip I'll never gonna pay for a place to sleep ( approximately 730 nights). So if I have no free place to sleep, then I will have to sleep outside in my tent. And that’s not as normal or simply as it seems. Just look at my route and list of countries where I’m going to (see photos). This you can continuesly check and follow on my facebook page that I have created especially for this trip.
