To all who care about human rights and how we treat our refugees in Greece.
My name is David Vogelaar and live in the Netherlands. I am a selfemployed International Site Construction Supervisor with a can do attitude.
I will be working as volunteer in Camp Moria 2 in Lesbos, Greece from June 21 to July 19.
We all know and hear the stories about the bad conditions in the refugee Camp Moria 2 on Lesbos.
Poor sanitair equipment for more than 7000 people.
No hot water to shower or washing clothes.
Deseases are all over in the Camp due to bad sanitair conditions. Clothes and bed linnen need to be washed with hot water to become hygienically clean.
Hardly any aprovements are made ....yet.
This needs to change.
By bringing 160 showers in 20 mobile shower container units. Each container has 8 showers and his own stand alone hot water installation powered on propane gas or diesel.
Optional and depending on the donations also mobile toilet units (Container with 8 toilets and wastetank)and mobile industrial washing machine container units can be placed.
All the funds with be used for sainitair in the Moria 2 refugee Camp. No salaries will be paid from the donations and full financial transparency will be available at any time.
Let's be practical and get these facilities on site and working to give these people a more human living. FAST!
THANK YOU
