Hello, Lia Carolina is my sister-in-law in Brazil. I live in the Netherlands and am married to Elayne, Lia's sister. Recently, Lia was diagnosed with breast cancer, a very aggressive form of it. She is currently starting chemotherapy, but she has a congenital bone disease which means her immune system is very weak and the risks of chemotherapy are very high. She has started chemotherapy at a clinic, but this is not cheap. Medication and supplies are expensive. For this, I am calling on crowdfunding for help. Transportation to and from the hospital also costs money every time. During chemotherapy, she is not allowed to work at home due to her fragile health. She has to hire someone for household chores. The family does as much as possible, but they are poor and cannot do or pay for everything. She also has a 5-year-old daughter, Aurelia, whom she cannot care for during this time. She also has a husband who helps her as much as possible, and he is currently on a 3-month break from work to care for her. We in the Netherlands also help her financially, but this is not enough. We also help her parents financially. She really needs more help
