Collection for Sandra's funeral and support for her children

We are so very sad to hear that our dear colleague and friend Sandra Johnson has passed away after the stroke she suffered earlier this year. She was only 48 years old and leaves behind young children. Sandra didn't have insurance for a funeral so we would like to support her family and especially her children by collecting funds for her funeral and other costs associated with her death. 

We will miss her warmth, her smile and her wonderful positive energy.

Please give generously if you cared about Sandra.

Sandra's funeral was held yesterday at the Boerhaavelaan in Groningen. It was a very moving and beautiful service, completely packed with family, friends and colleagues, a true testimony to how loved Sandra was.

Any further donations will now be collected in a special fund for the education of Sandra's children.

Wow! The response has been overwhelming! What an outpouring of love and support for Sandra and her family; this will surely provide support for her children while they grieve. It shows how loved Sandra was and how much good energy she brought into all of our lives.  

The funds we have collected will be sufficient to cover the funeral costs by now, any further donations will be used to support her boys and especially to go towards their education. So please keep giving! 

Sandra's funeral is next Thursday; details will be forthcoming.
