We hebben dringend uw hulp nodig om de voet te redden van een jonge man die tragisch werd aangereden door een auto(hit-run) terwijl hij op zijn fiets zat. Door dit hartverscheurende ongeluk met vluchtmisdrijf zit zijn voet nauwelijks vast aan zijn been - hij wordt alleen bijeengehouden door de huid. Hij verloor een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid bloed en dankzij de hulp van omstanders kon een ambulance hem met spoed naar het ziekenhuis brengen. Op dit moment vecht hij voor zijn toekomst. Als hij niet onmiddellijk wordt geopereerd, zal zijn voet moeten worden geamputeerd.

Maar er is hoop - artsen zeggen dat hij met de juiste behandeling, meerdere operaties en uitgebreide revalidatie een grote kans heeft om tot 70% van zijn mobiliteit terug te krijgen. Tijd is echter cruciaal. Hoe langer we wachten, hoe moeilijker het herstel wordt.
