Help Raf aan een nieuwe sportrolstoel!
Zonder uw hulp kan Raf niet meer zijn geliefde sport beoefenen, rolstoelhandbal.
Een paar jaar geleden zijn een aantal enthousiaste vrijwilligers van BFC gestart met een rolstoelhandbal team. Het talent van teamlid Raf Verheij, inmiddels een vaste waarde in het team van BFC, is ook buiten Limburg opgemerkt. Hij is als eerste in zijn provincie op uitnodiging van het NHV mee gaan trainen met het nationale rolstoelhandbal team en heeft met de rolstoelhandbal-selectie in Zagreb, Kroatië, deelgenomen aan het Europese zeslandentoernooi.
Raf vindt het een eer om uit te komen voor het Nederlandse team en speelt graag mee in het rolstoelhandbal team van BFC. Helaas vergt de sport ook financiële middelen bijvoorbeeld kosten voor vervoer, verblijf en onderhoud van zijn rolstoel. Raf heeft dringend een nieuwe sportrolstoel nodig maar het WMO vergoed maar een deel van dit bedrag. Om verder te kunnen sporten bij BFC en het Nederlandse rolstoelhandbal team is een bedrag van 1000 euro nodig. Help Raf get a new sports wheelchair!
Without your help, Raf can no longer practice his beloved sport, wheelchair handball.
A few years ago, several enthusiastic volunteers from BFC started a wheelchair handball team. The talent of team member Raf Verheij, now a fixed value in the BFC team, has also been noticed outside of his province. At the invitation from the National Handball Association, he started training and later competed with the national wheelchair handball team. In 2019, he also traveled with the wheelchair handball selection to Zagreb, Croatia for the European Six Nations tournament.
Raf considers it an honor to play for the Dutch team and likes to play in the wheelchair handball team of BFC. Unfortunately, the sport also requires financial resources, for example, costs for transport, accommodation, and maintenance of his wheelchair. Raf urgently needs a new sports wheelchair, but his municipality only reimburses part of this amount. To continue at BFC and the Dutch national wheelchair handball team, he is raising money, and an amount of 1000 euros is required.
