My name is Marloes and I’m asking for a little help for my amazing cat, Molly.
Molly is 9 years old and one of the sweetest, most active cats I know. He loves being close to me, especially sitting on my shoulder and one of his favorite things to do is play hide and seek around the house.
Unfortunately, Molly recently broke his leg. We still don’t know exactly how it happened but the injury was serious enough that he needed surgery.
He had surgery today and the vets had to place screws in his bone to stabilize the fracture and give his leg the best chance to heal properly. The surgery alone cost €2,900.
His recovery is going to be a long one. Molly will need strict cage rest for approximately six weeks. For the first two weeks he will have a cast and a cone and he will need to be closely monitored while his leg heals.
He also has a follow-up appointment planned, which will cost around €400.
I’m hoping to raise €3,300 to help cover the surgery, his follow-up care, and some of the additional costs of getting him safely through his recovery.
