In 2 days I will travel to Manchester to visit my lovely aunty Anna (left in the picture). (My other lovely aunt on the right in the picture.)

Although my aunty has lived most of her life in Manchester, and because of that our contact has always been fragmented and the visits were always shorter than we would wish they could be, my aunty succeeded in becoming a person that has gained a special place in my heart. And not only in mine. My aunt is loved and cherished by all my nephews and nieces, her brother and sister, and many more people.
For me my greatest memories are the creative moments and great adventures my aunt created for me and my sister when we were kids. These are memories that I will cherish forever.

Recently we learned that my aunty got diagnosed with cancer. There is no more chance for her to get better, so the best we can hope for is to be able to surround and support her as much as we can, to make the time she still has left as warm and colourful for her as we can.

My aunty entrusted me how she would love to spend a night (or maybe even a couple of nights) in the relaxing and cosy atmosphere of a hotel.
I would like to make this wish com true for her.
And for this I would like to ask your help. If you have the financial capacity to help me make this wish come true for my aunt, and if you wish to support this plan, I will be very grateful.

I don’t have a budget in mind. My plan would be to see what is possible with the amount that we - hopefully- raise. We don’t need anything luxury or fancy! We will be so thankfull with every bit of support that can make the day a bit more special and cosy than the usual!

Thank you for helping me to give my aunt some beautiful and colourful moments while she’s still here with us!
I will for sure enjoy every moment that I still get to spend together with her...
