Lieve iedereen,

Onze moedige moeder vecht al geruime tijd tegen lymfeklierkanker. Helaas is zij in Nederland uitbehandeld. Er is echter hoop: in Duitsland is een innovatieve therapie beschikbaar (biological therapy, immune therapy, nutrition, conventional therapy, hyperthermia) die haar een kans geeft. De kosten hiervan zijn hoog en worden niet vergoed door de verzekering. Daarom starten we deze crowdfunding: met jullie steun kunnen we haar naar Duitsland brengen voor de behandeling die haar leven kan redden. Elke donatie, groot of klein, brengt ons dichter bij ons doel en geeft onze moeder nieuwe hoop. Samen kunnen we het verschil maken. Heel veel dank voor jullie hulp en steun.

Our courageous mother has been battling lymphoma for some time now. Unfortunately, she cannot have treatment anymore in the Netherlands. However, there is hope: an innovative therapy (biological therapy, immune therapy, nutrition, conventional therapy, hyperthermia) is available in Germany that gives her a chance. The costs are high and are not reimbursed by insurance. That's why we're starting this crowdfunding: with your support we can take her to Germany for the treatment that can save her life. Hoi Allemaal,

Bij deze een update over de afgelopen weken:

Ten eerste willen wij iedereen ontzettend bedanken voor jullie steun, wij zijn ontroerd en dankbaar.

De afgelopen weken waren vrij rumoerig. Jill is twee keer opgenomen in het ziekenhuis vanwege extreme pijnen, helaas sloeg de medicatie niet goed aan.

Na heel wat onderzoeken en antibiotica is ze gelukkig op tijd voor de feestdagen weer thuis!

Vanwege deze heftige pijnen hebben wij besloten om een tussenoplossing te vinden voor een kleiner budget.

Dankzij een vriendin zijn wij in contact gebracht met een arts in India die een gepaste oplossing kan vinden.

Met het geld wat wij de afgelopen tijd hebben verzameld kan Jill voor een langere periode naar India voor persoonsgerichte behandelingen. Mocht dit niet de juiste oplossing zijn sluiten wij Duitsland zeker niet uit, maar vanwege de ernst van de situatie zullen wij begin 2025 naar India reizen.

Hi everyone,

Here's an update on the past few weeks:

First of all, we would like to thank everyone very much for your support, we are moved and grateful.

The past few weeks have been quite chaotic. Jill has been hospitalized twice due to extreme pain, unfortunately the medication did not work well.

After many tests and antibiotics, she is fortunately back home in time for the holidays!

Because of these intense pains, we decided to find an interim solution for a smaller budget. Thanks to a friend, we were put in touch with a doctor in India who can find a suitable solution. With the money we have collected recently, Jill can go to India for a longer period of time for personalized treatments.

 If this is not the right solution, we certainly do not rule out Germany, but due to the seriousness of the situation we will travel to India in early 2025. We will be posting regular updates of this journey and healing process at @Jillsroadtorecovery on Instagram.
