Gert krijgt de kans om als jonge, talentvolle cricketspeler de harten van cricketliefhebbers (en Nederland) te veroveren. Zijn team, het Nederlands U19 cricketteam reist eind februari af naar Zuid-Afrika, zijn geboorteland. Hiervoor wil Gert geld inzamelen. Zo kan hij ook mee naar dit internationale pre-season toernooi. Dit zijn de voorbereidingen voor de U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier in augustus 2023. Zijn droom is het winnen van een wereldtoernooi en uiteindelijk uitkomen voor het hoogste Nederlandse cricketteam.

Gert Swanepoel is een jongen van 18 met een enorme passie voor cricket. 3 jaar geleden is hij naar Nederland verhuisd vanaf Zuid-Afrika. Daar begon hij al op jonge leeftijd met het spelen van cricket. Ook in Nederland is Gert hiermee doorgegaan. Inmiddels speelt hij bij SV Kampong Cricket. Al enige tijd speelt Gert voor het Nederlandse Cricketteam (U19).

Gert has a chance to win the hearts of cricket lovers (and the Netherlands) as a young, talented cricketer. His team, the Dutch U19 cricket team will travel to South Africa, his native country, at the end of February. For this, Gert wants to raise money. This will also allow him to come along to this international pre-season tournament. These are preparations for the U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifier in August 2023. His dream is to win a world tournament and eventually play for the highest Dutch cricket team.

Gert Swanepoel is a boy of 18 with a huge passion for cricket. 3 years ago, he moved to the Netherlands from South Africa. There he started playing cricket at a young age. Gert has continued this in the Netherlands as well. He now plays at SV Kampong Cricket. For some time, Gert has been playing for the Dutch Cricket Team (U19).
