Retreat 2 Eden operates under the registered name of eMthunzini, a registered non-profit trust. We seek to assist in the healing of abused and hurting animals and people. We are based on a small farm outside Port Alfred, the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Besides caring for animals at the centre, we also assist people in the following ways:
1) People requesting that Retreat2Eden network to find homes for their pets
2) Assessing, socialising, retraining and rehoming retired service dogs via Retreat2Eden's K9 Hero Project.
3) Assisting other other organisations by fostering dogs who are not coping in a kennel type setup
