Dear reader,

My name is Dide Yüksel and I decided to run for election at my school (Erasmiaans Gymnasium). I'm trying to win a spot in the RGB (Rotterdamse Gymnasiasten Bond) and the position that I'm running for is called 'Sporticus'. It might not surprise you that the Sporticus is responsible for organising all of the sports activities at school. There are two other candidates running for this function, and that's why I have to put up an awesome campaign to convince the students to vote for me. The 22th of may is the day that I need to stand out in school because the election day is the 23th. As a strategy to get as many votes as I can, I'm going to hang my posters in and around the school, let kids wear shirts with my name on them and distribute stuff like pens and pencills. It would mean a lot to me if you want to help me with my campaign!

Mijn naam is Dide Yüksel en ik heb mij dit jaar verkiesbaar gesteld voor een plekje in de RGB (Rotterdamse Gymnasiasten Bond). Ik ga voor de functie Sporticus. Het zal u niet verbazen dat de Sporticus verantwoordelijk is voor het organiseren van alle sportieve activiteiten. Ik moet flink campagne gaan voeren tijdens de campagnedag op 22 maart aangezien ik 2 tegenkandidaten heb. Ik zal zo veel mogelijk leerlingen moeten overhalen om op mij te stemmen. Dit ga ik doen door zo veel mogelijk op te vallen; de school te beplakken met mijn posters, leerlingen mijn shirtje te laten dragen en zo veel mogelijk spulletjes uit te delen.
