Mijn naam is Ruud Bekkers uit Nederland. Ieder jaar bezoek ik Nepal, wat zoals u waarschijnlijk wel weet, een van de armste landen ter wereld is. Gedurende mijn laatste bezoek heb ik een schooltje bezocht waar kinderen en onderwijzers slapen in htezelfde lokaal waar ze overdag les gegeven wordt. Het specifieke aspect van deze kleine school is dat: 26 kinderen & 5 leraren overwinteren in Pokhara, 2de stad in Nepal, vanuit de noordelijke delen van de Himalaya's om aan de ernstige kou te kunnen ontsnappen. Omdat deze kinderen overwegend Tibataans zijn, ipv Nepalees, ondersteunde de Nepalese overheid deze school niet.

Om deze reden heb ik deze crowdfunding opgestart, met als doel €5000,-- in te zamelen voor de aanschaf van laptops, tablets, internet en ander lesmateriaal. Eind oktober reis ik weer opnieuw af naar Nepal. Het zou zo mooi zijn als u ons ondersteunt.

My name is Ruud Bekkers from the Netherlands. Every year I visit Nepal wich is, as you probably know, one of the most poor countries of the world.

During my last visit I was pointed to a primary-school where children and teachings-staff live, sleep and get taught in the very same rooms.
The specific aspect of this small school is; 26 pupils & 5 teachers have to move every winter from the northern parts of the Himalaya’s, 5000 mtr height to lower grounds nearby Pokhara, second city of Nepal, to have less cold. The Nepali government does'nt contribute this school for learning & resources to buy computers and get on internet as well,because of these people are most from Tibetan origine instead of Nepali!

Therefore I started this crowdfunding-project to collect €5000.-- that will be spent on: laptops, tablets, getting connected on the internet, hard & software, books & writingmaterials.

End of october 2019 I will visit Nepal again. It would be so nice if you can join our attempts to get these children connected to our modern world.
