Lamin Fofana is an experienced tourguide in The Gambia. He has been working hard to show tourists every beautiful corner of his country. Being a tourguide in The Gambia without a car is not particularly easy. It is very hard to make his business profitable due to the simple fact that the biggest part of his tourfee is being spend on the taxi drivers.
The first small steps in maintaining his business have been taken already by creating a website and a facebookpage. The site, the facebookpage and all the communiations are being maintained by me, Louise. Now, the second step to complete independence for Lamin is his own car. With his own way of transportation he is not dependent on others anymore and it will be easier to maintaining a normal standard of living for him and his family.
With this small initiative we hope to really improve someones life on a small scale by sending him concrete help directly. This way he can work towards complete independence and create a reasonable living standard and above all; a brighter future.
