Myra, her mother, and grandmother have endured much suffering. When her mother was pregnant, her young father died of Covid, and she herself was born with a disability. Myra could not walk and underwent surgery in Turkey last week because surgery in the Netherlands was not possible. The family could barely raise the necessary funds. Ultimately, the surgery went ahead. However, a day later, after her surgery, her mother suffered a stroke and had to be urgently admitted to the same hospital where Myra had already been. She underwent surgery there. She was briefly in a coma and is still partially paralyzed. Because she is not yet allowed to fly home, the family has had to rent a house and care/assistance. All costs are mounting. Furthermore, during this ordeal, Myra's grandmother developed such high blood pressure that she also required urgent examination and treatment.
